Acceptable stay, but lighting needs improvement
poor lighting substandard shower
The bed was comfy, which i appreciated after a long day.
The lighting in the bedroom requires attention. I could not see into the wardrobe because there was no lighting anywhere near it. The bathroom was also poorly lit, and the shower was substandard.

The rooms were nicely arranged and super clean. There were numerous lovely lounge spaces. I particularly enjoyed the courtyard and the roof terrace. All the staff were very helpful (especially Patricia!).
The hotel did not acknowledge a special occasion I noted in advance. There was no greeting or gesture upon arrival. I found that disappointing for a hotel of this purported standard.

The hotel is in a great area. It's close to main attractions, yet situated on a quiet street, this setup allowed for a peaceful experience .

a good stay
excellent breakfast friendly staff excellent location
i appreciated the excellent buffet breakfast, different from larger hotels. the friendly staff served it, without heated units . a receptionist suggested a flamenco club, and i enjoyed it very much. the location allowed easy walks to major attractions, an ideal benefit.
the rooftop was somewhat old.

the hotel is very close a well-appointed carrefour mini market. casa de pilatos and convento de san leandro are nearby. it is a fun walk to las setas.

The staff was helpful! We were very comfortable in the rooms. The outdoor pool area provided many locations to relax. The location is quiet, but close to central attractions!

The staff provided excellent attention to guest needs. I found the hotel to be a lovely traditional building centered around an outdoor courtyard. My room was big and the bed was very comfortable.
The lighting in my bedroom and bathroom was not good. I could not see into the wardrobe because there was no lighting near it. The shower was also poor.

The location was great. The on-site restaurant made great food and drinks. Carlos and Marta were great.
